Sun Institute
The active part of the route begins 5 km before the Sun Institute on a road with light traffic. After a detailed briefing, you will be accompanied by a guide at the front and a support vehicle, ensuring your bike ride is pleasant, safe, and comfortable.
Located near Tashkent, the Sun Institute is a leading center for solar energy research. Here, you will learn about cutting-edge solar energy research and see unique solar installations. The tour of the institute includes demonstrations of solar panels, thermal collectors, and other innovative technologies that play a key role in sustainable energy. Notably, there are only two such facilities in the world—one in France and one in Uzbekistan.
After the tour at the Helio Complex, we continue our bike tour to the Sukok Reserve, a favorite spot for both tourists and locals due to its abundance of plants and scenic trails. Our route passes along the famous vineyards of Parkent, known for its wines. This part of the route is easy and allows you to fully enjoy the landscapes.
Sukok Reserve
Next, we head to the picturesque Sukok Reserve, where nature remains in its pristine state. We will cycle through the cozy streets of the kishlak, enjoying views of well-kept gardens and vineyards. In the village, you can observe the traditional life of the local people and taste delicious local treats.
In the reserve, you will enjoy exciting walks along scenic trails, observe rare plant species, and breathe in the fresh air while taking in the stunning landscapes.
