Gulkam Canyon and Waterfall
Gulkam gulleys, a majestic canyon, are located in the picturesque Ugam-Chatkal National Nature Park, very close to the popular ski resort “Chimgan”, one and half hours drive from noisy Tashkent
The route to the gulleys starts from the village of Chimgan, through the Pesochny Pass (1832 m). The way from the road to the pass, takes about 1 hour, even for unprepared tourists. From the pass there are stunning views of the rock massif of Aukashka mountain (peak Okhotnichy 3099 m), the Gulkam gorge
Following the winding scree paths, we will descend to the Gulkam gorge with a small mountain river. We will pass through a birch grove and come to a picturesque glade where you can relax and enjoy the charm of nature.
After a light picnic on the glade at the confluence of mountain rivers, walk through the gorge and descend to the Gulkam waterfall (12 m).
Return by the same path to the car.
Transfer to Tashkent via Charvak reservoir view point. Next stop at the Multicenturies Chinar, walk around the territory. The closest accessible Petroglyphs are also located here.
Return to your hotel in Tashkent.

Detaillierte Route
Departure from Tashkent in the morning.
Transfer to Chimgan Mountains, arrival and start of the trekking.
Ascent to Pesochny (Sandy) pass.
Descent to Gulkam gorge to the mountain river.
Walk through birch grove and picturesque places, descent to the waterfall.
One way (4 km 286m ascent 385m descent).
Swimming in the baths of the river is possible (seasonal).
Picnic (lunch box)
Transfer to Charvak reservoir for observation point, tandem paragliding is possible. Transfer to Khojikent, visit to the centuries-old plane trees and rock paintings.
Return to your hotel in Tashkent.
